Mumbo Jumbo

Mumbo Jumbo is a Launceston based 6 piece Rock, Roll and Soul band. Peter Waddle and John Maclaine’s musical association has survived numerous incarnations since the 1980’s and with the addition of Georgia McKinnell taking up the rhythmic duties challenge in the Barflies Blues Band and The Remains in 2012, a strong back line foundation has been brewing ever since.

Similarly, Carmel Claxton, David Pfundt and Phil Pitcher will be familiar to many Launcestonians and all three have performed with Peter, John and Georgia in many and varied settings and they’ve all ‘graced’ stages together and separately in a multitude of guises.

This latest endeavour gives an opportunity to cast Carmel as ‘front mama’ of a band playing some well known hits and standards along with some tasty treats for their own satisfaction and enjoyment.
